Here at the SpotCoaching Company we offer an innovative approach to engaging with people at all levels within an organisation. It can be applied in three ways, all of which combine to provide a comprehensive package of support to enable businesses to operate and thrive even in the most challenging of environments.
For everyone in the organization
SpotCoaching provides a totally flexible development option for all staff and encourages them to take responsibility for their own learning. By providing bookable, one-off coaching sessions with a qualified external coach, individuals can bring any issues they face to the coaching session. The coaching is therefore a totally client-led, confidential conversation aimed at generating a personal action plan. If an organisation is offering a number of SpotCoaching days, the coaches can then also feedback on any common themes emerging from the coaching discussions, whilst ensuring total confidentiality and privacy of all coachees.
To support Leadership Development
SpotCoaching can be a valuable development intervention for all staff and can also be utilised to support staff attending leadership development programmes. By running SpotCoaching Plus alongside a leadership development programme, the coach is able to support the leader in evaluating and applying the training principles in their own area of the business. This can encourage experimentation with new ideas and offer support through the change process. Lessons from training often fail to be implemented in practice and SpotCoaching can be the catalyst required to encourage action and innovation based on learning.
To help you grow talent
Content Coaching is a more structured, yet adaptable programme, aimed at those in the early stages of their management or leadership careers. In this situation, individuals often need a little more content and direction based on models, theories or ideas that they may want to draw upon. Content Coaching sessions are therefore based on an initial learning agenda set out with the coachee and their manager. Together with the coach they will define key topics of interest and each coaching session will start with a summary or review of aspects of that topic relevant to the coachee’s context. The coaching can then focus on how that learning might be applied by the individual in his or her own specific context.
